Updated: Jan 11, 2019

The Environmental Ministry of the First Unitarian Church in Salt Lake City invites you to celebrate and learn about the bipartisan Energy Innovation and Carbon Dividend Act recently introduced in Congress.

Saturday, Jan. 12, 2019, First Unitarian Church, Eliot Hall, North Entrance 6:30 -7:00pm    Food, drinks and happiness 7:00 - 7:45pm   Details about how EICDA would work  7:45 -8:30pm    Q&A There's plenty to celebrate because Energy Innovation and Carbon Dividend Act is:  EFFECTIVE: it would reduce carbon by 40% in 10 years. GOOD for PEOPLE: it would improve health, reduce pollution, and put money directly into people's pockets. GOOD for the ECONOMY: it would create 2.1 million jobs. BIPARTISAN and REVENUE NEUTRAL: it's co-sponsored in both the House and the Senate and it doesn't grow the size of the government.
