More Bob Inglis Media

The Utah Statesman ran a great article about Bob Inglis's visit last month. Former US Republican congressman shares his take on climate change Here are some great quotes from the USU College Republicans: Augusta Scott, president of the USU College Republicans: “Most of us have heard about this from a young age. I think that’s the case for most students, especially ones that were here tonight, and it’s something they can talk about because its controversial at the moment.”

Dillon Passmore, Vice President of the USU College Republicans: “Quite often when people think of conservatism and the Republican Party, they think of tax cuts and the Reagan ‘80s. Around 70% of Americans consider climate change to be an issue, and I feel we [Republicans] at the very least need to engage the topic,”

USU College Republicans club member James Ostergar: “Bob’s message began by talking about values that people on both sides of the political spectrum share. This method can be applied to climate change, but also other things, and this brings hope that agreements can be reached on polarizing issues.”
