Our approach to promoting climate legislation is to build relationships, 
make connections, get new perspectives, and refine our own.

 

ClimateUtah is a non-partisan, non-profit grassroots organization focused on reducing carbon emissions through effective legislation in Utah. We were founded in January 2018 to promote state-based climate action.

We know that consensus solutions bring about lasting change, and that's our goal. In 2018, we helped pass House Concurrent Resolution 007. This resolution encourages the responsible stewardship of natural resources, and the reduction of emissions through incentives and support of the growth in technologies and services that will enlarge the economy.
