The Clean Air Caucus meeting is at 6:30 pm on Tuesday, June 19, 2018, in the Copper Room, Utah Senate Building. Professor Rob Davies will give a 45-minute presentation on climate science and its relationship to air quality in Utah's non-attainment zones. The meeting is open to the public and pizza will be served. RSVP to Representative Arent so they know how much pizza to order. patrice@patricearent.com

This is a big deal and has been a long time coming. The Clean Air Caucus has been very reluctant to talk about climate change for fear of alienating legislators who might be receptive on clean air issues but not on climate change. The passage of HCR007 has changed that.

If you are represented by one of the Clean Air Caucus co-chairs (Snow, Arent, Briscoe, Redd, Edwards, Chavez-Houck, Weiler, Escamilla) please write and thank them for including a climate change presentation.

If you are represented by other legislators, please write and invite them to Tuesday's meeting. The legislators really like to have their constituents come to these meetings to support them.
