Interim session of the Utah Legislature is this week.

The Clean Air Caucus meets Tuesday, October 16th at 6:30 pm in the Copper Room of the Senate Building. The public is welcome and pizza is served. Many of the most supportive legislators on climate change will be there. It's really helpful to have constituents attend and support them.

Rep. Briscoe will be presenting on HB403 to the League of Women Voters on Wednesday October 17th at 11:30 am in the Seagull Room of the Senate Building.

The Public Utilities, Energy, and Technology Subcommittee meets Wednesday October 17th at 1:15 pm in room 25 of the House Building. Here is the agenda for the meeting, and here is the list of committee members. The committee will be hearing testimony on the rural development of renewable energy, and Rocky Mountain Power's cost allocation, given Oregon's new law to phase out coal-powered electricity generation. This meeting will include most of the key players for Utah's energy policy.
