Salt Lake County and Oakley both passed HB411 resolutions last week, becoming the sixth and seventh municipalities to sign on! They join Salt Lake City, Park City, Moab, Cottonwood Heights, and Holladay in the 100% renewable club. The Salt Lake County resolution only affects unincorporated areas, but it is symbolically big for us. Congratulations to everyone who lobbied city council members on this!

For people in other municipalities, the Sierra Club has made a great letter writing tool for us to use. It will look up your city council members and send your message to the right people. Please write your city council and let them know that you support 100% clean electricity!

Upcoming dates are:

November 12 - Millcreek resolution vote. 5:00pm work meeting, 7:00pm public discussion and vote. Details.

November 12 - Kamas City Council public discussion and vote. Details.

November 18 - Cottonwood Heights Sustainability Task Force

November 19 - Ogden work session.

November 19 - West Valley City - Council consideration (not public). Details.

November 19 - Kearns discussion and vote. Details.

November 19 - Sandy City Council possible discussion / vote

December 3 - Ogden - Public discussion and vote
